Robin Passmore has devoted her life to the art of tap dancing. Starting out as a competition dancer who won countless national and regional awards and titles both as a soloist and as a group member, her love for performing led her to New York City where she was proud to become a cast member of Jared Grimes’ Broadway Underground. She is currently the dance captain of Chloe Arnold’s Apartment 33 and she has performed with Chloe Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies. Recently, she performed at the Lincoln Center, for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Gala. She was featured with Jared Grimes in the April 2015 edition of Dance Teacher magazine. She has also appeared in Sesame Street segments. She recently shot an instructional video for Stage Door Workshops. Her students have garnered top awards including Dance Spirit Cover Model of the Year, and First Overalls at competitions like OnStage New York, Rising Star, DanceXplosion, Dancers’ Inc, and others. Her students have performed in Broadway Underground the Remix, Run the Night, and the DC Tap Festival. Robin travels the East Coast teaching master classes and setting choreography.
